Traditionally held on the first weekend of Advent, the Kürten Christmas market offers mainly handicrafts from the region and a very stylish ambience under illuminated trees. The special feature is that, in contrast to many commercially run Christmas markets, the market in Kürten is organised by the community of interest with exclusively volunteer helpers. The varied stage programme presents local artists as well as guests from the surrounding area. The programme will be published on the homepage of the Kürten community of interests at www.kuerten-erleben.de as well as on the Facebook page of the IG.
