Following the great success of previous years, the Christmas market in Odenthal-Holz will take place on the 1st and 4th Advent in the beer garden of the Cramer Stuben restaurant. In lovingly decorated stalls, mountain vendors present a variety of interesting handicrafts for sale. Christmas pastries, festive decorations, window decorations, textile art and much more await the visitor with music and entertainment for young and old. For small and large appetites, the restaurant offers waffles, a mushroom pan, bratwurst, kielbasa and cevapcici in flatbread at its own stand. Cocoa, a selection of non-alcoholic drinks, beer and, of course, mulled wine await thirsty throats. Musical entertainment will be provided by the group "(L)Acapella" from Burscheid and the alphorn blowers. A special sale will take place again this year, with the proceeds being donated. In addition, St. Nicholas has already announced himself for the Sundays, with whom market visitors can take photos. The pictures will be printed out immediately and given away free of charge. This year, the self-built, stylish 18-metre-high Christmas tree will be lit entirely from wind and solar energy. This is far and away the only homemade Christmas tree of this size that does not need electricity from the socket.
