The only brewery in the Bergisch region and the only Kölsch brewery outside of Cologne is the Erzquell Brewery in Bielstein. Its sparkling copper kettles, in which both Kölsch and Pils are made, have become something of a symbol of Bielstein, the beer village.

A tour of the brewery with an expert guide through all the stages of production from the brew house to bottling is of course possible at the Erzquell Brewery. After the tour, the cosy brewery lounge invites you to enjoy some snacks and sample some beer.
Anyone who would like to know more can also book a “beer connoisseur seminar”. As part of this evening tour, the master brewer introduces the participants to the secrets of the art of brewing and awards official “beer connoisseur diplomas”.
